Blessed are the children of Parents who...
1. Witness love for their spouse, their children, their neighbors and the world.
2. Talk freely about the presence of God in the joys and sorrows of their lives.
3. Remind their children that they are loved by God and have been given gifts to serve others.
4. Lead their family in prayer.
5. Speak positively about priests, sisters, brothers and deacons.
6. Participate in the lay ministries and activities of their parish and community.
7. Invite a deacon, brother, sister or priest to their home.
8. Encourage their children to consider priesthood and religious life, as well as marriage.

20 April Business Meeting
Thursday night’s business meeting was well attended by Beverly’s Knights. A new committee was formed to explore the process of running a Beverly-wide fishing tournament. We are looking for all current and former Knights to help us fill out the committee, knowledge of fishing tournaments and how to run them would be helpful.
The next Council 175 business meeting will be Sunday, May 5th at 6pm in the St Mary's Convent.

Enlightening and Successful Evening
Last Sunday, Beverly's Knights of Columbus hosted a social at the Convent where Deacon (soon to be Father) Jurgen Liias spoke to a diverse group of 24 parishioners. Deacon Liias spoke of the "series of conversions" that lead him to the Catholic Church. Thank you Deacon Liias for sharing with us.
At the conclussion of the evening we drew the winner of our first ever 50/50 raffle. Congratulations to George O'Brien who takes home $825!
Beverly's Knights voted to Share the wealth with a $200 donation to Beverly's youth group to assist them in fundraising for their Rome pilgramage.
